The Diamond Key is a key particular in the in the Resident Evil 2 remake. It appears as a large, silver cardinal with an embellished handle attribute like a pink diamond.

Purpose

• Unlocks the door at the outdoor area of the Firing Range.
• Unlocks the room access to the Linen Room.
• Unlocks the room access that leads to the Elevator Controls Room (Claire only).

Position

Inside the Morgue - on the second mortuary coffin from right on to left connected the northern side of meat of the room.

In the [1st] run, the zombie inside the morgue with the key will only wake up after it is picked risen, in the [2nd] run, the zombie will waken immediately when his dead room is fully open.
